Attack Types

Type Condition Multiplier Notes
Direct Attack (DA) Manual (tap player on leaderboard or clan roster) None Starts the cycle
Revenge Attacked while you have 1+ shields (consumes a shield) 3x Best attack type in the game
Counter Attack (CA) Attacked while you have 0 shields 2x Still valuable, but less than revenge
Common misconception: A lot of older community advice has the Revenge and Counter Attack multipliers reversed. Revenge (with shields) is 3x. Counter Attack (no shields) is 2x.

Multiplier Math

Multipliers are multiplicative, not additive. The full chain: Base Loot (capped at 20k bricks) * Post-Battle Mini-Game (1x, 2x, 3x, or 4x) * x2 Bonus Window * Attack Type Multiplier.

Scenario Formula Max Bricks Total Multiplier
Revenge + x2 + 4x mini-game 20k * 4 * 2 * 3 480,000 x24
Counter Attack + x2 + 4x mini-game 20k * 4 * 2 * 2 320,000 x16
Regular battle + x2 + 4x mini-game 20k * 4 * 2 160,000 x8

These multipliers also apply to stars and event fuel (Space Race, Piggy Race). The gap between Revenge and regular battles is 3x. Over dozens of battles in a session, that compounds into a massive progression difference.

Shields

  • Max 3 shields at a time. Each Revenge consumes one.
  • Replenish by hitting "Claim" in your defense building, then select an empty spot in the build queue to craft more.
  • Crafting takes 45 minutes but accelerates as you loot bricks. A couple battles or one Revenge/CA will finish it fast.
Keep shields up during events. 10 Revenges at 3x is worth far more than 10 Counter Attacks at 2x. Before an event starts, make sure shields are fully stocked. Between play sessions, queue up a new craft so shields are ready when you log back in.

Cooldown

  • After being attacked, a cooldown timer prevents others from DA'ing you for a period of time.
  • You cannot see your own cooldown. Ask a clanmate to check for you.
  • A DA rework is planned but has no release date.

Attack List

  • Incoming attacks queue up to a max of 10 slots.
  • New attacks can push old ones off the list. Random/bot attacks can displace partner attacks.
  • Attacks expire after roughly 48 hours if not played.

Building and Maintaining DA Partners

The following are recommendations, not rules. Communication with your partner will set the cadence for direct attacks, and strategies vary depending on factors like partner timezone, work schedule, and when each of you is actually able to volley. Strategize based on what is most effective for you and your partner, not just what is on this guide.

  • Start with clanmates. Tap their name in the clan roster, check if they are off cooldown, and attack.
  • Communicate through Discord or clan chat. Coordinate play schedules and break times.
  • Set real-world timers to hit partners the moment their cooldown drops.
  • Return attacks within 24-36 hours to keep the cycle alive.
  • During events, limit random battles to protect your attack list from bot/random overflow.

Why Your Clan Matters

  • Clan roster is the easiest way to find and DA partners.
  • Good clans provide communication channels, cooldown coordination, and shared knowledge.
  • During events, strong clans coordinate DA timing so members have stacked attack lists for their x2 windows.
  • Players without active clan partners are stuck relying on random/bot attacks, which is not competitive.
  • Time zone diversity in a clan means attack cycles can run around the clock.

Quick Checklist

  1. Join an active clan with a Discord or chat channel.
  2. Find 2-3 clanmates willing to trade DAs regularly.
  3. Keep shields up, especially before and during events.
  4. Set timers to hit partners when their cooldown drops.
  5. Return every attack within 24 hours.
  6. Limit random battles during events to protect your attack list.
  7. Stack attacks before your x2 window, then burn through them.
  8. Communicate constantly.
DA Rework Incoming: The devs have confirmed a DA rework is in progress. Goals include removing cooldowns, removing the 10-slot cap, and reducing time intensity while keeping the social and competitive elements. No release date has been announced. Until it lands, mastering the current system is the clearest path to competitive progression.
